HEAVEN HOLDS ITS BREATH
Where have you gone?
You shut down:
You turned away,
When they put him in the ground on that cold, dark day.
Where are you now?
Down in the dark:
You lick your wounds and guard your heart.
Where did it all go wrong?
Heaven holds its breath and waits.
Angels cease their song.
The clouds roll in and
The sunshine is gone.
I wrap myself in what comfort I can find.
While you toast death,
I’m left behind.
My knees are bloodied from so much prayer.
My heart is a study in darkness and despair.
Where do the answers lie?
In some grave?
I can not look,
I am not brave.
Did you die with him on that winter day?
You certainly have gone away.
I weep and beg and call your name.
But you do not hear, you are not the same.
Where did it all go wrong?
Heaven holds its breath and waits.
Angels cease their song.
The clouds roll in,
The sunshine is gone.
I like it. :)

Floppy,
I know that was a truly horrible experience, I pray he comes back to you soon, I wish I had known how you were feeling sooner, I'm so sorry.
Tim...
Everywhere the sorrow lies,
Not a single ray of optimism flies.
Death is an end of life,
For reaching towards it, we have to strive.
Beautiful words Flopy, keep posting.
